They now join the previously released Warrior 300 and Warrior 150 models.
The design and even the color scheme look very similar to an ARRI Orbiter. Originality is not necessarily a strong point for some lighting companies.
The Warrior 600 has a claimed output of up 300,000 Lux at 1 meter when used with its included reflector. The included reflector has a very narrow beam angle of just 15 degrees. Please bear in mind that sometimes lights like these have a very prominent hot spot and the claimed output can be deceiving. If you use the Warrior 600 or Warrior 600X without the reflector the beam angle is 120 degrees.

The Warrior 600 consists of a light head and a separate power/supply controller. The power supply/controller is larger than the light head and it has physical dimensions of 12.8 x 7.3 x 8.3 in (32.5 x 18.5 x 21.1 cm). It tips the scales at 11 lb / 4.98 kg. The actual light head weighs 12.1 lb 5.48 kg.
How does this weight compare to an Aputure LS 600d Pro Light Storm Daylight LED?
The overall weight of the Fotodiox Pro Warrior 600 and the Aputure 600d Pro are almost identical.
The Warrior 600 features an adjustable 360° all-metal U-bracket featuring a disc brake locking function for safely mounting and achieving any angle needed.
The Warrior 600 has a constant daylight (5600K) balanced color temperature and is dimmable from 0-100% power and remains flicker-free due the PWM integrated design. Built-in NTC temperature detection automatically controls the fan and prevents overheating helping to ensure a long product life and that your light will emit steady and accurate light under varying conditions. Solid aluminum shell provides durability and enhanced heat dissipation for a long product life.
You can easily add just about any softbox, beauty dish, barndoor, color gel or diffusion material with the integrated Bowens S-mount.
Just like the Aputure 600d Pro, you can run the Warrior 600 from two high-powered V-mount or AB Gold mount batteries (depending on the model) via the battery plates that are located on the power supply/control box. Fotodiox claims that the light can operate at 80% brightness for 30min when using 2x 130Wh V-Mount/ AB Gold Mount Batteries. There are many variables that may affect run time including ambient temperature, age of battery, etc.
The fixture is Firmware upgradeable via the USB port. There are also 11 pre-installed special effect modes (Lightning, Fireworks, Flash, etc.
The Warrior 600X is identical in every way to the Warrior 600 except that it is Kelvin color temperature adjustable from 2700-6500K.
Fotodiox Pro claims that the Warrior 600X has an output of 204,300 lux @1m when used with the 15° Reflector and set at 4400K. As a comparison, the Aputure 600x Pro when used with the optional F10 Fresnel at 15 degrees puts out 224,200 lux @1m.
